Towing Questions

What is the difference between local and long-distance towing?

Local towing is usually within a certain location, for us, it is within the city limits of Adrian. Because of the time and gas required for long-distance assistance, costs are higher than a simple, local tow service.

If my car breaks down on a highway, how can you help tow it?

When you call our dispatchers, provide as much information as you can find – mile post markets, any signs, and your car’s information – such as the make and model.

Can you tow motorcycles?

Yes, we carry all the equipment necessary to make sure your bike is securely fastened to the flatbed so it won’t tip or move during the tow.

Troubleshooting Questions

What does it mean if my “check engine” or “service engine soon” light comes on?

There are many sensors and computerized components that manage your vehicle’s engine performance and emissions. When one of these fails, the “check engine” light is illuminated. Although your car may seem to run fine, it is important to have the issue addressed to prevent long-term problems.

What should I do if my car starts to overheat?

This is a very serious problem – if your car overheats for too long, you can damage your engine. As soon as possible, find a safe place to pull off the road and shut the engine off! Do not attempt to check the fluid level in the radiator; the hot fluid can cause severe burns.

Why is my brake pedal pushing to the floor?

First, check the brake fluid and make sure it is full. If it is full, the Brake Master Cylinder seals may have failed, allowing fluid to flow right into the reservoir, which may require a master Cylinder replacement.

Why did my turn signal start blinking really fast?

This is an early warning sign that your light bulb has burned out or is ready to burn out. Replace the turn signal light bulb, and it should start blinking normally again.
